Texans Lose Kichida for Season
Friday, October 6th, 2034
Dallas left fielder Shunso Kichida could miss the remainder of the season because of a sore elbow. He exited yesterday's So Cal game after injuring himself while making a defensive play. The original diagnosis said Kichida would be out 5-6 weeks. Later on his doctors said he could be out even longer. "He's done," his manager commented at the BNN press conference. "It's a season-ending injury, but it could have been worse. It's not the worst-case scenario, so we're happy about that."

In the current season, Kichida has put up a .320 batting average with 113 hits, no home runs, 30 RBI and scored 60 runs.
