Thurman Munson League Names Rookie of Month Sunday, October 1st, 2034 Kerry Hood earned September's Rookie of the Month honors in the Thurman Munson League for last month's performance. The boyish Cabo San Lucas third baseman might be wet behind the ears, but he's proving that he has what it takes to play at this level. Hood hit .380 with 2 home runs, 13 RBIs and 20 runs scored this past month on his way to winning the award. So far this season Hood is batting .330 with 5 home runs. |
