Hornets bin Umar to Miss Year
Tuesday, September 26th, 2034
The doctors have spoken and Alim bin Umar of the Eureka Hornets didn't like what he heard. The 32-year-old reliever is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. bin Umar sustained his season-ending injury during the Mile High Mustangs game yesterday at McNichols Stadium. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Eureka medical staff reported bin Umar had a torn labrum and would be absent from the lineup for at least 5 months.

Thus far this season bin Umar has saved 20 games. His won-lost mark is 8 wins and 9 losses with 53 strikeouts in 64.2 innings, along with a 2.51 ERA.
