Bad Boy Brawlers Suspended 8 Games Wednesday, September 20th, 2034 Today the league office handed out 8-game suspensions to Evan Hemming of the Mustangs and Jeff Hodge of the Hops for their roles in a benches-clearing skirmish at McNichols Stadium yesterday. The league commissioner said in the statement to both organizations, "This league does not condone fighting and aggressive conduct on the field, thus we had to take action to discourage this behavior in the future." This season Hemming has hit at a .273 clip with 33 RBIs, 11 home runs and 33 runs scored. He has played in 81 games. On the season Hodge has delivered 1 saves in 38 relief appearances. He has 65 strikeouts in 82 innings with a 4.17 ERA and a 1-1 mark. |
