Season-Ending Injury for Javier Colón
Thursday, September 14th, 2034
Javier Colón will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Las Vegas reliever could miss the remainder of the year. Colón was injured while throwing a pitch in the Aces-Beavers clash at Sin City Stadium recently. Doctors said he has a torn rotator cuff and would be out a minimum of 4 months.
Thus far this season Colón has compiled a 2-2 record, made 23 relief appearances with 1 save, hurling 33.2 innings and striking out 27. He has held the opposition to a .366 batting average with a 6.95 ERA.
