Thurman Munson League Names Rookie of Month Friday, September 1st, 2034 Youngster Landen Jarman emerged as the latest Thurman Munson League Rookie of the Month today. The young man from Oklahoma City deserved the honor, batting .294 with 6 home runs and 25 runs batted in. Is the month of August a harbinger of things to come or just a fluke? We'll find out someday, but for now, we'll just let Jarman enjoy the limelight. Jarman's current batting average stands at .304 and he has chalked up 16 home runs and 73 RBIs. |
