So Cal's Johnson Chosen August's Best in RCL Friday, September 1st, 2034 Tanner Johnson's been around the league long enough to appreciate the honor he received today. After going 6-0 in August, the 32-year-old So Cal hurler has been named Roberto Clemente League Pitcher of the Month. He fanned 36 in 43.2 innings, logged an ERA of 2.06 and allowed opponents to hit .227 against him. Thus far this season, Johnson has worked 191.2 innings with 165 strikeouts en route to a 17-5 record and a 2.44 ERA. |
