Great Stroke: Vedant Gets 5 Hits Sunday, August 27th, 2034 Portland Beavers left fielder Vihaan Vedant banged out 5 hits today, but it was not enough to keep his club from succumbing to the San Diego Hops, 13-9. He went 5-for-5 and raised his batting average a few points. "If the hits keep coming," an upbeat Vedant said after the game, "the runs will too. And, more importantly, so will the wins." Vihaan Vedant hit a two-run home run off Pedro Alejo in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, doubled in the 6th and singled in the 7th.
