Sanchez Put on Shelf, Listed DTD Friday, August 11th, 2034 Seattle team officials speculated whether star center fielder Robby Sanchez would be scratched from today's ballgame after he suffered a strained quad in yesterday's matchup with the Hawaii Islanders. Sanchez denied reports that he would miss a lot of time, but added that he would not risk further injury by playing. To date Sanchez has chalked up a .273 average with 3 home runs, driven in 39 runs and scored 50 times. |
