Hawaii SP Guzman Will Miss 5 Weeks Thursday, August 10th, 2034 After injuring himself, Islanders starting pitcher David Guzman headed straight to the hospital. He was removed from the game as a precaution after throwing a pitch, and the team's worst fears were confirmed when it turned out to be a little more serious. Guzman will miss at least 5 weeks with shoulder inflammation. On his stats sheet for the year Guzman shows a 13-2 record, 23 starts, 150.2 innings, 181 strikeouts and a 1.79 ERA. |
