Another Setback For South Carolina's Esteban Ruíz Monday, August 7th, 2034 The South Carolina Bombers plan to take it slow with third baseman Esteban Ruíz, knowing that his recovery from shoulder bursitis would likely include a few bumps in the road. A team spokesman told BNN, "Esteban has up days and down days. It's still a process. He was feeling really good and then he had a step back. The doctors say it will be about 6 days before he can be activated." This year Ruíz is batting .274 with 78 hits and 11 home runs. He has scored 32 times and has batted in 40 runs. |
