Day-to-Day Injury Shelves Crespo Wednesday, August 2nd, 2034 The Oklahoma City Prowlers said it will be up to starting pitcher Manuel Crespo whether he plays or not. He suffered a day-to-day injury in yesterday's game against the Brooklyn Black Knights and could be missing a few games. Crespo was hurt while throwing a pitch and sustained a sore shoulder. Team doctors told him it could up to 4 weeks before he heals completely. Thus far this season, Crespo has tossed 62.1 innings in 7 starts, fanned 46 batters, walked 7 and put up a 4.33 ERA with 4 wins and 3 losses. |
