Dallas-Kansas City Deal: Wirfel for Lucero Monday, July 31st, 2034 Today at a press conference the Dallas Texans announced a trade has been completed with the Kansas City Tornadoes. The Texans have shipped 22-year-old minor league CF Barry Wirfel and 21-year-old minor league RHP Donald Barron to the Tornadoes for 25-year-old RHP Juan Lucero and 22-year-old minor league RHP Sam Thomas. So far this year Lucero has made 19 starts, tossed 90.1 innings, struck out 53 batters and walked 26. His record is 5-8 with a 3.89 ERA and he has limited opposing teams to a .266 batting average. |
