Georgia-Santa Fe Trade: Marés for Romero Monday, July 31st, 2034 The Georgia Grays have parted ways with 20-year-old minor league 2B Fernando Calvo, 33-year-old RHP Hayden Capel, 22-year-old minor league 3B Orrin Martell and 24-year-old minor league RHP Felipe Marés in a trade with the Santa Fe Fuego for 34-year-old RHP Oliver Romero. Grays general manager Isaac Reid confirmed the deal in an announcement this morning. Marés has gone 8-12 with an ERA of 5.36 in his career, piling up 96 strikeouts in 194.2 innings pitched. In the current season in 22 starts, Oliver Romero has a record of 7-9 with 117 strikeouts in 154 innings and a 4.27 ERA. |
