Bloomington-Quebec Trade: López for Doucet Monday, July 31st, 2034 The Bloomington Blazers have parted ways with 34-year-old RHP Tony Gutierrez, 34-year-old LHP Greg Rojas, 22-year-old minor league LHP Jay Casbeer, 22-year-old minor league LHP Ernesto Trevino and 22-year-old minor league RHP José López in a trade with the Quebec Armada for 30-year-old LHP Joachim Doucet and 31-year-old RHP Zong-yuan Sang. Blazers general manager Jesse Donahoo confirmed the deal in an announcement this morning. Doucet has collected 22 saves for the year with 51 strikeouts and 12 walks in 42.2 innings while registering a 2.74 ERA and a 4-4 won-lost record. |
