Lopez Takes This Week's Trophy Monday, July 31st, 2034 Hector Lopez demonstrated his potential to be a star in the game last week and today he took home the Thurman Munson League Player of the Week Award. The Oklahoma City center fielder wreaked havoc on opposing pitchers last week, pounding them for a .552 average (16-for-29) with 4 home runs and 9 RBIs on his way to claiming the honor. Thus far this year Lopez has hit .300 with 7 home runs and 51 RBIs. |
