Mendez Twirls Armada to Shutout Victory Thursday, July 27th, 2034 It was not a good day at the plate for the Oklahoma City Prowlers. They came up empty when it mattered against Quebec Armada left-hander Luis Mendez, who scattered 2 hits across 9 innings and held the Prowlers scoreless. "We had 2 hits so I know he wasn't completely untouchable, but he was close," Oklahoma City manager Evan Kiser said later. Mendez chalked up 4 strikeouts and 2 walks in the 13-0 Armada win.
