Ruckus Reaps 5-Game Suspensions Wednesday, July 26th, 2034 Bad blood could be brewing between the Texans and the Rhinos. In yesterday's contest at Metroplex Park, Dallas's Tsunayoshi Ito and Rubber City's Tom Hanson caused the benches to empty when they went toe-to-toe against one another. Only Ito and Hanson were ejected by the umpires. Upon hearing that the two players had been suspended 5 games each by the league office, harsh comments came from both clubhouses. League officials have warned both organizations about the consequences of premeditated retaliation. Thus far this year Ito has hit .275 with 13 home runs and 47 RBIs. Hanson has fashioned a 6-10 mark for the season, 5.35 ERA and thrown 117.2 innings in 20 starts. Opposing clubs are batting .297 against him. |
