Hops Pitching Ravaged by Cabrera Tuesday, July 25th, 2034 It was high-fives all around for Héctor Cabrera at The Brew Stade today. He got them from his teammates and he got them at the plate during an outstanding hitting performance against the San Diego Hops. Cabrera smashed 6 hits in 7 at-bats on his monster day, leading his club to a 20-4 win. "Héctor was hitting everything," said Republic manager Munenori Sato. "It really was a special game for him." In the opposing dugout, Hops manager Randy England told BNN beat writers that Cabrera "ambushed" the club. "Obviously we didn't have much success against him, but we'll have another chance," he said. "Hopefully, Cabrera oversleeps next time." Héctor Cabrera singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, doubled in the 5th, grounded out in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
