Bloomington, San Francisco Agree to Swap Monday, July 17th, 2034 Bloomington and San Francisco announced today in a joint press conference that 23-year-old minor league RHP David Gilmour and 23-year-old minor league RHP Enrique Galván will be going to the Earthquakes in exchange for 30-year-old 3B Ruben Estrada. "It'll be exciting to join a new organization," one player said. "Some of us could use a fresh start." The players have each passed physicals and are expected to report by day's end. San Francisco will retain a portion of Estrada's remaining contract. This year Estrada has collected a .243 batting average to date with 73 hits in 300 at-bats, 44 RBIs, 21 home runs and scored 44 times. He has played in 80 games. |
