Season Ends for Scott Ray of Mile High Saturday, July 15th, 2034 A blow for Scott Ray today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 13-14 months with a torn ulnar collateral ligament. Ray suffered the injury throwing a pitch. Although officials from the Mile High Mustangs are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Ray's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. Ray's record this year is 0-and-2 with no saves and a 4.96 ERA. He has given up 21 hits in 16.1 innings with 10 strikeouts. |
