Miller Hitless, Streak Ends at 21
Tuesday, July 11th, 2034
Hawaii second baseman Tynan Miller experienced something against the Las Vegas Aces he hadn't experienced a while: a hitless game.
The Aces pitching corps quieted his hot bat and snapped his streak at 21 games, but his teammates picked up the slack to lead the Islanders to a 5-4 victory at Aloha Stadium.
"Hey, ain't nothin' bad about a losing a 21-game hitting streak," Miller joked with reporters after the game. "Now you guys will have to find someone else to bother for stories."
Miller is hitting .332 so far this season with 35 RBIs and 38 runs scored. He has 97 hits including 6 home runs, 10 walks and .356 OBP.
