Yamasaki Selected Top Player Monday, July 10th, 2034 It was a sweet day for Motonobu Yamasaki of the Maple Marauders, who found out he has been named the Thurman Munson League Player of the Week. The Marauders catcher put up a solid .458 average and contributed 2 home runs and 13 RBIs to claim the honors. In 70 games this season Yamasaki has compiled a .282 batting average with 73 hits and 19 home runs. He has also scored 48 times and knocked in 65 runs. |
