South Carolina's Ruíz Out 5 Weeks Thursday, July 6th, 2034 The South Carolina Bombers learned that Esteban Ruíz is likely to be out for 5 weeks after he injured himself throwing the ball in today's game against the Seattle Sasquatch. A round of tests by the team doctor revealed the injury to be shoulder bursitis. Upon hearing the diagnosis, the South Carolina manager told the press, "As you all know, we can't control injuries -- they are a part of the game.
