Kansas City, Vancouver Agree to Swap Monday, July 3rd, 2034 The Tornadoes and the Pioneers finalized a deal this afternoon. Kansas City has traded for 21-year-old minor league RF Cesar Ortiz, 34-year-old 2B Félix Herrera, 29-year-old LHP Mitsuharu Shionoya, 20-year-old minor league SS Danny Salazar and 20-year-old minor league SS Cesar Lopez and in return Vancouver will receive 25-year-old RHP Tomoyuki Kiyomizu. This season Kiyomizu has made 31 relief appearances, saving 17. His record is 0-1 with 23 strikeouts in 31.1 innings and a 2.01 ERA. Presently Herrera is batting .167 and has collected no home runs, 1 RBIs, .167 OBP and scored no runs. |
