Roberto Clemente League Names Rookie of Month Saturday, July 1st, 2034 Youngster Rob Leibbrandt emerged as the latest Roberto Clemente League Rookie of the Month today. The young man from Seattle deserved the honor, batting .368 with 3 home runs and 15 runs batted in. Is the month of June a harbinger of things to come or just a fluke? We'll find out someday, but for now, we'll just let Leibbrandt enjoy the limelight. This year Leibbrandt is batting .305 with 5 home runs. |
