Republic Starter Wins RCL Pitching Award Saturday, July 1st, 2034 Tanner Johnson's been around the league long enough to appreciate the honor he received today. After going 4-0 in June, the 31-year-old So Cal hurler has been named Roberto Clemente League Pitcher of the Month. He fanned 27 in 42 innings, logged an ERA of 1.71 and allowed opponents to hit .180 against him. In 16 starts this year Johnson has fashioned a 9-4 record and a 2.89 ERA. |
