White Strokes 5 Hits Friday, June 30th, 2034 Doug White was sizzling at the plate today. In a game played at Sin City Stadium, the Las Vegas designated hitter blistered the San Francisco Earthquakes for 5 hits in 6 at-bats to pace his club to a 11-10 victory. "White was too tough to get out today," Earthquakes skipper Joe Ward said in his postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too." Doug White singled in the 1st, walked in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 8th, singled in the 9th, doubled in the 11th and flied out in the 13th.
