Santiso Day-to-Day with Injury Thursday, June 22nd, 2034 Eureka's star shortstop Roberto Santiso injured himself in a game against the South Carolina Bombers, prompting the team to list him as day-to-day. The doctors are reporting the injury as knee inflammation and they say the best medicine is a short period of rest. "Hopefully I don't get replaced by some hotshot wannabe," said Santiso with a smile as he talked to reporters. In 46 games this season Santiso has batted at a .303 pace with 56 hits and no home runs. |
