Bad News for San Diego, An-yi Bian Hurt Wednesday, June 21st, 2034 It took the San Diego team doctor a while to realize it, but third baseman An-yi Bian won't simply play through an oblique strain after he got hurt running the bases in today's Colonials-Hops game. At first, it looked like Bian might be back as early as tomorrow, but now the prognosis isn't quite so good; he's expected to miss at least 2 weeks. Bian is presently hitting at a .299 pace with 13 home runs and 42 RBIs. He has played in 67 games and scored 33 times. |
