Rehab Road Tough For Blazers Michael Carew Wednesday, June 21st, 2034 First Michael Carew got hurt and suffered a sprained ankle. Now he is going to miss even more games. Treatment was going well until yesterday when the Blazers second baseman overextended himself in a workout and suffered a setback. The Bloomington medical staff have now revised his recovery time to at least 4 days. For the year Carew is batting .291 with 60 hits and 2 home runs. He has scored 27 times and driven in 22. |
