South Carolina, Santa Fe Confirm Swap Monday, June 19th, 2034 Reports have surfaced that South Carolina has agreed to send 39-year-old 3B Ken Abbott to the Santa Fe Fuego in exchange for 21-year-old minor league RF Josh Kaseman. "It's a done deal," said one executive speaking on the condition of anonymity. "I'm surprised word got around so quickly. We just signed off on this an hour ago." The deal apparently is awaiting physicals before an official announcement is made by either team. Presently Abbott is batting .159 with 7 hits and 2 home runs. He has knocked in 10 runs and scored 3 times. |
