TML Announces Player of the Week Monday, June 19th, 2034 At the age of 31, Akio Ishii might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Vancouver right fielder put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .591 batting average. For his efforts Ishii collected the Thurman Munson League Player of the Week Award. He racked up 13 hits in 22 at-bats, 1 home run and 8 RBIs last week in 5 games. Presently Ishii is hitting .377 with 18 home runs and 67 RBIs. He has played in 57 games and scored 47 times. |
