Tamura Hurls Shutout Friday, June 16th, 2034 Everything clicked on the hill today for Masafumi Tamura as he hurled the So Cal Republic to a 9-0 shutout win over the San Diego Hops, limiting them to 3 hits while recording 9 strikeouts and yielding no walks. He overpowered some batters with fastballs and buckled knees with sharp breaking pitches. "We had our shot at him a couple of different times," Hops manager Randy England said.
