Bloomington C Axe Will Miss 5 Weeks Wednesday, June 14th, 2034 Team doctors diagnosed Eugene Axe with a strained anterior cruciate ligament and told the Bloomington Blazers catcher that he will miss 5 weeks. Axe was hurt running the bases in a game against the South Carolina Bombers. Thus far this season in 52 games Axe is batting .272 with 5 home runs, 29 RBIs and 23 runs scored. He has 52 hits in 191 at-bats. |
