Bombers, Tornadoes Confirm Swap Monday, June 5th, 2034 South Carolina and Kansas City have agreed in principle to a trade. The Bombers will send 25-year-old minor league C Kent Owen to the Tornadoes for 22-year-old 2B Benito Velez. The deal is expected to be finalized shortly and the clubs will be introducing their new players to the press when the paperwork is complete. Velez is swinging at a .182 pace on the year with no home runs, 1 RBIs and 4 runs scored. He has played in 20 games. |
