Adams of Santa Fe Player of the Week Monday, June 5th, 2034 26-year-old Lance Adams sent shock waves through ADULT BASEBALL LEAGUE last week with an eye-popping performance that brought him the Roberto Clemente League Player of the Week Award. A newcomer to the league, Adams made the establishment sit up and take notice, punishing opposing pitchers with a .593 average, 16 hits in 27 at-bats, 4 home runs and 11 RBI. Where the Santa Fe Fuego first baseman goes from here, only the baseball gods know for sure, but Adams certainly made his mark last week. Looking at his season stats, Adams has compiled a .317 batting average and a .380 on-base percentage, while hitting 15 home runs and driving in 45 runs. |
