Park Belts 5 Hits
Friday, June 2nd, 2034
Maple Marauders right fielder Jae-hoon Park had a day to remember at Legends Park today, ripping apart the San Francisco Earthquakes and sparking the Marauders to a 14-3 victory.
Park wrote his name in the record books with a 5-hit barrage, finishing his special day 5-for-5.
"I'm usually a first ball hitter," Park told BNN reporters in the postgame press conference. "I think pitchers think batters are going to let the first one go by. I never do. I've always found that it's better to pull the trigger early in the count. Pitchers get real nasty when they get ahead of you, so I try to avoid it."
Jae-hoon Park hit a two-run home run off Carlos Estrada in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
Currently Park has 11 home runs and a .282 batting average.
