Tamura Tabbed as May's Starter of the Month Thursday, June 1st, 2034 Masafumi Tamura's been around the league long enough to appreciate the honor he received today. After going 5-1 in May, the 31-year-old So Cal hurler has been named Roberto Clemente League Pitcher of the Month. He fanned 41 in 43 innings, logged an ERA of 2.09 and allowed opponents to hit .240 against him. To date this year in 11 starts, Tamura has crafted a 8-2 mark with a 2.63 ERA. |
