Ouch! Vincent Vickers Shelved by Injury Tuesday, May 23rd, 2034 It took the Rubber City team doctor a while to realize it, but starting pitcher Vincent Vickers won't simply play through a strained calf muscle after he got hurt throwing a pitch in today's Republic-Rhinos game. At first, it looked like Vickers might be back as early as tomorrow, but now the prognosis isn't quite so good; he's expected to miss at least 3 weeks. Vickers has a 3-2 season record so far. In 9 starts, he has fanned 47 batters in 63 innings with a 4.43 ERA. |
