Kato Blisters Dallas Thursday, May 11th, 2034 Akira Kato had an answer for everything the Dallas Texans threw at him today at Metroplex Park. The San Diego second baseman went 5-for-6 in the game to put his name in the record book and put the Hops on top, 9-7. Summing up his batting philosophy to BNN writers after the game, Kato said, "I just see the ball and I hit it." Akira Kato singled in the 2nd, grounded out in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Maximino Pato in the 8th, hit a two-run home run off Ashoka Pancholi in the 9th and singled in the 12th.
