Zamora TML's Best of the Week Monday, May 1st, 2034 At the age of 31, Jorge Zamora might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Maple third baseman put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .409 batting average. For his efforts Zamora collected the Thurman Munson League Player of the Week Award. He racked up 9 hits in 22 at-bats, 5 home runs and 10 RBIs last week in 6 games. Presently Zamora is batting .326 with 30 hits and 8 home runs. He has knocked in 25 runs and scored 23 times. |
