Portland Reliever Out Thursday, April 27th, 2034 A blow for Jian-guo Yang today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 4 months with shoulder inflammation. Yang suffered the injury throwing a pitch. Although officials from the Portland Beavers are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Yang's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. So far this season, in 5 relief appearances Yang has compiled an ERA of 2.13. He has pitched 12.2 innings, struck out 11, walked 3 and registered 1 save. |
