Suspensions Handed Out for Bench-Clearing Brawl Tuesday, April 18th, 2034 You would have thought you were at a hockey game yesterday at Metroplex Park. A free-for-all broke out when Juan Calderon of Dallas and Anupradana Agarkar of Rubber City rushed one another on the field and had to be restrained by umpires and teammates. Few blows landed, but it was enough for them to be ejected from the game. Today both teams received notification from the league office that the two players would be suspended for 3 games. So far in 2034 Calderon is batting .286 with 1 home run, 1 RBIs and 4 runs scored. He has 6 hits in 21 at-bats and a .375 OBP. |
