Ishii Batters Cabo San Lucas Big Time Thursday, April 6th, 2034 No matter what the Cabo San Lucas Toreros threw at him today, Akio Ishii hit it. He easily handled Toreros pitching, going 5 for 6 and helping the Pioneers to a 12-3 triumph at Field de Los Layendas. "The way I was swinging today, I think I could have closed my eyes and hit the ball," he told BNN reporters in the postgame interview. Told of Ishii's quip, Toreros skipper Matt Johnson said he "would take him up on that next time."
