Tornadoes, Pioneers Make Deal Saturday, April 1st, 2034 Sometimes a change of scenery can be a beneficial to a baseball player. That is the hope in Kansas City and Vancouver as the teams came to an agreement today which sends 22-year-old minor league RHP Willard Stady, 22-year-old minor league RHP Adam Andersen, 25-year-old RHP Munemori Abe, 20-year-old minor league 2B Juan Villanueva and 25-year-old minor league RHP Clay Melsom to the Pioneers and 21-year-old minor league RHP Shu-de Tian to the Tornadoes. "Only time will tell if this is the right move for everyone," stated the Vancouver GM. The 25-year-old Melsom has sat down 58 batters on strikes, walked 41 and put up a 7.52 ERA. His career won-lost record is 0-9. |
