Hawaii Makes Big Splash in Free Agency: Signs 2B

The Islanders pulled out all the stops today to announce the signing of second baseman Baber Davi. The 32-year-old is one of the game's preeminent playmakers and has definitely proven why he was such an attractive signing.
The contract is a 4-year deal worth $80,000,000.
Davi has a career .313 average with 2304 hits, including 454 doubles, 68 triples and 299 homers, collected 1282 RBIs, scored 1050 runs and compiled a .356 OBP.
