Ohayashi Nixed as Manager by Pioneers Monday, December 26th, 2033 Kojuro Ohayashi has been released as the Vancouver Pioneers manager. Pioneers officials said it is time to make a change and get the club heading in a different direction. The dismissed skipper was philosophical about his fate. "When things don't go right, the first thing management does is get a new manager," he said. "That seems to be the quickest solution to making things better -- or at least, making them seem better. That's just the way baseball is." |
