Jacksonville-Dallas Deal: Holmes for Spencer Friday, December 9th, 2033 Today at a press conference the Jacksonville Jacks announced a trade has been completed with the Dallas Texans. The Jacks have shipped 33-year-old RHP John Holmes to the Texans for 23-year-old minor league SS Mark Spencer, 21-year-old minor league LHP Brian Christ and 21-year-old minor league C Miles Gregg. Jacksonville will retain a portion of Holmes's remaining contract. Since coming into the league, Holmes has a 58-69 mark and a 4.49 ERA. The 33-year-old hurler also has struck out 782 batters in 1167.2 innings and permitted 1288 hits. |
