RCL Manager of the Year Award Given to Sato Sunday, November 27th, 2033 The So Cal Republic had an outstanding season, much of it due to their astute and gifted skipper. For his managerial excellence, Munenori Sato reaped the reward of being voted Roberto Clemente League Manager of the Year. "A manager is only as good as the players he's managing," Sato told reporters. "If I didn't have the talent to work with, making all the right moves wouldn't have helped a bit." Under Sato the Republic finished first in the Roberto Clemente League Christian Latulippe Division with a record of 119-43 and won their 8th ABL WORLD SERIES with a tough 4-3 series victory over the Maple Marauders. |
